Our Story
Growing a Healthier Rainhill
Rainhill Market started in May 2022 with the cooperation of the Parish Council after the only fruit and vegetable shop in the village closed. From humble beginnings, the Market has expanded both inside St Ann's Millennium Centre and outside in the Car Park. Further growth is planned for 2024, so join us in making Rainhill a healthier place to live.

Mama Sood's
Mama Sood's is an exciting chutney brand with a bold and fresh vision. Launched in 2023, Mama Sood's emerged from a fiery passion to reinvent and enliven the world of chutneys. Offering an array of unique flavours from the tangy zest of Tomato & Pineapple to the warmth of classic Chilli, the Mama Sood's collection is as diverse as it is delicious. Whether you dip, spread, or cook with it, the possibilities are endless.
Dr Dough
Dave Stewart, also known as Dr Dough, turned his passion for baking into a successful business. Valuing tradition, he sources his wheat flour from a water-powered mill located 30 miles away from his bakery in Prescot. Dr Dough's bread is a refreshing antidote to ultra-processed loaves, with varieties like sourdough, focaccia, and walnut bread drawing long queues to his stall.
Cafe Laziz
Cafe Laziz is an international café dedicated to people and culture. It's a brilliant social enterprise supporting asylum seekers and refugees, led by Emma and Clare who empower students to cook authentic dishes from around the world - from Somali fasulya to Salvadoran pastelitos. Cafe Laziz provides a welcoming atmosphere alongside its delicious international food.
H.M. Pasties
H.M. Pasties is a social business creating sustainable employment for people with criminal convictions. Their aim is to 'bring out the good inside' by employing ex-offenders to make and sell delicious handmade Cornish-style pasties. All their products are handmade using the finest ingredients, sourced where possible from local suppliers. Another must-visit stall that frequently draws in long queues.
Incey's Bees
Incey’s Bees started in April 2023 when Ryan set up two beehives in his garden after learning from a beekeeper at his job.
They continued to grow with Ryan, Abbie and their families all helping in the process.
They now operate 30 hives, and are working towards becoming a major local supplier of honey. Incey's bees have got some exciting new products they can’t wait to share in the coming months!

Step 2
Preparation
Once your place has been confirmed, it's time to clear your schedule and prepare the items you plan to sell. The fee for stalls is £15 and public liability insurance must be provided.
Step 3
Set up Your Stall
Please bring your own tables and gazebos if possible. For those without, a limited number of tables can be found indoors. Once your stall is set up, the primary school car park opposite the venue is available for parking.
Step 4
Start Selling!
